Kapiti Island is one of New Zealand's most important nature reserves. The best way to enjoy the island is a guided tour, even better stay the night for some Kiwi spotting.
Stay your way
Our glamping tents are the most popular with couples. If you’d prefer solid walls we have cosy cabins. We are the only provider of accommodation on the island. Every stay comes with cooked meals and Kiwi spotting night tour.
HPAI bird flu update
We have been preparing for bird flu for some time, and our plans, guidance and response pathways are already in place. We are not moving into a full response phase unless there is evidence the virus is spreading. For now, our focus remains on readiness, monitoring the situation, and making sure our people know what to do. The current health risk to the public is very low.
